Glasbau Gipser GmbH

We can look back over 70 years of family tradition.

The grandfather had already been running a glazing business in Halle (Saale) from 1928 before the company was founded by Otto Gipser in 1948 and later continued by Michael Gipser. Senior partner Michael Gipser was the driving force behind the further development of the company in the early 1990s, and quickly recognised the need to bring glass and metal together.

One of the managing directors, Michael Gipser, has been the state guild master of the glazier trades in Saxony-Anhalt since 1990 and the deputy federal guild master of the glazier trades for 15 years. For almost two decades, he served on the board of the Halle Chamber of Handicrafts and was its vice president for several years.
In December 2009, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon by the then Federal President, Horst Köhler.

Christian Gipser has now led the fourth generation of the family company GIPSER for over 10 years, during which time it has continued to steadily expand. Our innovative glass and steel structures, born of in-depth knowledge and many years of experience, help to create greater transparency and perspective. Today, the company has more than 80 employees who provide comprehensive support both in technical planning and in implementation on the construction site.

The company site covers a production/administrative area of more than 14,000 m². Sheet glass is processed and complex steel and metal structures are created for our projects.

Thanks to our modern machinery for cutting and processing steel, aluminium and stainless steel, we are able to respond to project and client requirements at short notice and are therefore always able to complete projects on schedule.

The name Glasbau Gipser is now associated with a range of outstanding projects, always innovative and flexible in implementation.
